Katie Price appeared 'confused' as she faced court following her arrest at Heathrow Airport, according to body language expert Judi James. The former glamour model was taken to the Royal Courts of Justice in London after being detained upon returning from Turkey, where she had undergone cosmetic surgery.
James analysed images of Price arriving at court, noting that she looked 'vulnerable' despite her usual resilience. 'Cameras and press interest are the lifeblood for Katie,' James said. 'The flesh-coloured outfit appears to be a nod to the Kardashian lifestyle, although this is also a court appearance that might not feature in the lifestyle of any of Kim’s family.'
During the hearing, Price faced a setback when a High Court judge dismissed her claim of being charged £50,000 for legal advice. Judge Schaffer told her that hiring a solicitor should cost around £500. Price, wearing a head bandage and sunglasses after her sixth facelift, expressed difficulty attending court in person and requested to appear via video link in future.
The judge ordered Price to attend a public examination on August 27 and to produce documents upon request, warning that failure to comply could lead to another arrest. Price responded, 'I will move my diary for it.' The arrest warrant issued on July 30 was lifted after she attended the hearing.
Price was released on bail early this morning on health grounds, as she was recovering from surgery. She was arrested last night upon arrival at Heathrow with her son Harvey and partner JJ Slater.
