Katie Price and her former manager Claire Powell have officially put their long-running feud to bed, reuniting after a decade apart. The pair were seen together at the AO Arena in Manchester, where they supported Katie's son Junior Andre, who was performing at the Hair & Beauty Awards.
Reunion After a Decade
The former model was previously managed by Claire during her relationship with Peter Andre. However, after Katie and Pete's marriage dramatically ended, so did her relationship with Claire, who continued to manage Peter. Their relationship became heated, with Katie being sued by Claire following an allegation which Katie later admitted was untrue and paid substantial damages for, outside of court.
In the years that followed, Claire remained loyal to Pete and supported him throughout various disputes. Katie previously claimed she blamed Claire for the breakdown of her marriage, saying she felt "married to two people."
Friendly Terms for a Year
The Mirror can reveal that the pair have been on friendly terms and speaking to one another for a year, away from the media. The former pals looked happier than ever as they reunited after rekindling their friendship, in exclusive pictures. Claire wore a long, flowing black dress with blonde hair cascading down her chest, while Katie looked glamorous in a leopard-print two-piece.
Tonight, both businesswomen put on a united display as they stepped out at the AO Arena. Katie and Claire were sitting at the same table together, a decade after they were last seen at one of Peter's gigs at the Brighton Centre. Princess Andre was also on hand to support her brother as he performed his new single, Goosebumps.
Joint Statement Earlier This Year
Earlier this year, Katie and Peter issued their first joint statement since their marriage. In a move that shocked people, they officially announced they would not speak ill of one another again – or risk breaching a new legally binding contract. Taking to Instagram, they both posted: "Katie Price and Peter Andre have decided to close the door on the past and move forward into a new chapter with positivity and respect. We are both focused on creating a calm and supportive environment for our children."
The statement continued: "We have reached a mutual agreement, both legally and personally confirming that neither of us will speak negatively about the other going forward. This decision reflects a shared commitment to our family and stability." It added: "We want to stand united for our children. We are hoping this is a start of a positive relationship. We ask for understanding and support from both the media and the public as we move ahead."
The pair previously clashed after claims that Katie had been barred from appearing on Princess' ITV reality show. Peter hit back by saying he had tried to stay silent for 'sixteen years' to ignore 'repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family'. "That ends today," he fumed.
The night was filled with stars, with Professor Green, Tinchy Stryder and Dappy of N-Dubz all taking to the stage alongside Junior. Other famous guests included The Only Way Is Essex's Jordan Brook and Sophie Kasaei, and Love Island star Liberty Poole.
