Katie Price Removes Wedding Ring After Family Refuses to Meet Husband

Katie Price has removed her wedding ring just a day after the release of her new documentary, in which she revealed that her family refuses to meet her fourth husband, Lee Andrews. The former glamour model, 48, took to social media to share a mirror selfie in a bright pink bikini before swimming, but eagle-eyed fans noticed the absence of the large wedding ring she had regularly worn since marrying Lee in Dubai earlier this year.

Family Concerns Highlighted in Documentary

The ring removal comes after scenes aired from her Sky documentary, Katie Price: Nothing To Hide, where the mother of five disclosed her family's ongoing worries about her whirlwind marriage. Speaking on This Morning to promote the series, Price admitted her family still refuses to meet Lee, whom she married in January just days after they met in person. She stated, "My family don't want nothing to do with him. And you can't blame them because of what's out there."

Price explained that while she wants her relatives to give Lee a chance, they are refusing out of a desire to protect her. "I want them to, but at the moment they're like, 'No', because they're protecting me," she added, noting that her past difficult relationships have made those closest to her wary of history repeating itself.

Family Members Voice Strong Opposition

The documentary lays bare these concerns, with Price's family openly questioning her decision to marry Lee so quickly. Her son, Junior Andre, branded the wedding "the most silliest, stupidest thing," while her stepfather, Paul Price, admitted he was "100 percent" angry after learning she had flown to Dubai to marry the businessman. Price's sister Sophie has also voiced concerns, telling the star on their podcast that she felt Lee had been "massively mugging you off" after he failed to make it to the UK for a planned television appearance.

Marriage Under Scrutiny

The couple has remained under intense public scrutiny since tying the knot. Lee's prolonged stay in Dubai fueled speculation before it emerged he had been detained there over a civil case. Despite the ongoing controversy, Price has continued to publicly back her husband, recently describing him on social media as her "perfect match" following a trip to Dubai to see him. The removal of her wedding ring now adds fresh speculation about the state of their marriage.
