Katie Price's new husband, Lee Andrews, proposed to another woman in the same manner just four months before marrying the former glamour model, according to reports. The 47-year-old shocked fans this weekend by announcing her engagement and subsequent wedding to Dubai-based businessman Lee Andrews.
The couple tied the knot in a private ceremony with only themselves present, according to eyewitnesses. Katie wore a white cut-out bodycon dress, while Lee opted for white linen trousers and a taupe shirt. This marks Katie's fourth marriage, following previous unions with Peter Andre, Alex Reid, and Kieran Hayler.
However, The Sun reports that in September, Lee proposed to fitness enthusiast Alana Percival with an extravagant display of rose petals reading 'Will you marry me?' at the luxurious Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai. The couple had met on a Dubai beach in May but later called off the engagement.
Katie revealed she met Lee in person just over a week ago after being introduced on social media. They bought rings for each other and got matching tattoos before meeting. Katie described the union as 'a wedding at first sight' and called Lee 'my real life Richard Gere.'
Despite Katie's joy, her family is reportedly concerned about the speed of the relationship following her split from JJ Slater only weeks ago. A source told The Sun that the family learned of the engagement via Instagram and were 'stunned' as they had not yet met Lee.
