Former glamour model Katie Price has launched a fierce defence of her new home after it was compared to her infamous 'Mucky Mansion'.
Christmas waste sparks unfair criticism
The media personality, 47, took to her Instagram Stories on 13 January 2026 to address what she called "really disappointing" reports. Aerial photographs had surfaced showing a pile of packages and cardboard boxes outside her second rented property since leaving her Sussex home in 2024.
Price explained the situation was simply post-Christmas clutter waiting for collection. "After the Christmas break, there were a few bags and leftover boxes that hadn't been collected yet," the mother-of-five stated. She emphasised this was typical for many families and that the waste had now been cleared.
"There's absolutely no truth to the idea that I'm letting my home become dirty or neglected," she asserted, expressing frustration at the revival of an old narrative about her housekeeping.
A fresh start amid relationship rumours
The defence of her home came as Katie appeared to be focusing on a new chapter. Earlier the same day, she had shared a series of cryptic posts hinting at her relationship status following her reported split from JJ Slater.
One quote she posted read: "When I care, I care hard. When I don't give a f***, I really don't give a f***." Others discussed intimacy and healing from trauma, suggesting the star is in a reflective mood.
Future plans with son Harvey
Looking ahead, Katie has revealed potential plans to mark a milestone with her eldest son, Harvey. In a recent YouTube clip, she suggested they could travel to Las Vegas later in the year when he turns 24.
"You’re old enough. I could take you anywhere now," she told him, even proposing he could try his first beer during the trip. This highlights a positive focus on family amidst the recent criticism about her living situation.
Katie Price's determined response shows her intent to control the narrative surrounding her personal life, firmly rejecting any comparisons to the past state of her previous property.
