Reality television personality Katie Price has opened up about a serious health scare, revealing that concerns over her dramatic weight loss pushed her to seek urgent medical advice.

Speaking on her podcast, The Katie Price Show, with her sister Sophie, the 47-year-old former glamour model disclosed that her mother, Amy Price, became "panicked" after seeing her significant weight reduction. Amy reportedly begged her daughter to get medical help. Katie confirmed she had attended a doctor's appointment in early January 2026, stating she went to discuss blood tests and an MRI scan to determine the cause.
"I’m going in there to talk about blood tests, MRI, everything she wants me to have to get to the bottom of why the Price is – forget stick man – stick woman," Katie told her sister. She shared screenshots of the appointment to reassure her worried family.
Ongoing Medical Concerns
This is not the first time Katie has sought help for her health. In October 2025, she posted a selfie informing fans she was going to the doctor to investigate her weight loss while on tour with friend Kerry Katona. During a recent check-up, medical professionals expressed concern after taking her blood pressure three times, with readings coming back unusually low. "It can't be that low," the doctors reportedly said.
Katie also revealed that a previous attempt at blood tests was unsuccessful, as clinicians could only fill two vials, forcing her to book a follow-up appointment.

The star's recent admissions follow reports that her family have been engaging in "honest" conversations about her well-being. A source close to the family told The Mirror that these discussions, which cover her mental health and weight, come from a place of love and support and remain private.
