Katie Price has opened up about a recent health scare that prompted her to seek medical advice after fans expressed concern over her dramatic weight loss. The reality TV star, 47, described herself as a “stick woman” while discussing the results of a doctor's appointment on her podcast, The Katie Price Show.
During the episode with her sister Sophie, Katie revealed that their mother, Amy, had urged her to see a doctor after becoming alarmed by her appearance. “All I’ve had, since everywhere has been closed, is, ‘Have you phoned the doctors yet? Have you phoned?’” Katie said. She confirmed she had attended an appointment, adding: “I’m going in there to talk about blood tests, MRI, everything she wants me to have to get to the bottom of why the Price is – forget stick man – stick woman.”
Katie also shared that doctors were concerned during the visit because her blood pressure was unusually low. She said the test was taken three times, with medical staff remarking: “It can't be that low.”
The former glamour model previously sought medical help in October 2025, posting a selfie with the caption: “First day off and straight to the doctors to find out what’s happened to my weight.” She added that another appointment was necessary after doctors were only able to fill two vials of blood for testing.
Her recent admissions come amid reports that her family have been having “honest” conversations about her wellbeing. A source told the Mirror: “They do share their concerns with Kate and have open, honest conversations with her about how she's feeling – including her mental health and her weight loss.”
