Katie Price has denied allegations that her husband, Lee Andrews, possesses a sex tape featuring the pair and was attempting to sell it. She also issued a warning on the subject that she would give to her own kids and "anyone who's listening from the younger generation".
Allegations and denial
Lee, who is reportedly facing fraud charges in Dubai, was allegedly released from Al Awir prison for a second time last month and seeking to raise £120,000 to settle a fine. It comes after claims he attempted to profit from an explicit tape featuring himself and Katie.
In July, The Sun reported Lee said he had a "short video" that could be sold for £250,000. In a voice recording to a friend, Lee is alleged to have told them he needed to "get cash quickly", but could "always release" the tape. The publication claims he was informed it was illegal without Katie's consent. After being told this, he reportedly said he "was not serious on that".
Now, his wife has denied that such footage exists, telling Andrew Gold's Heretics podcast on YouTube that she'd "never done a sex tape" with Lee.
Katie's warning
In an adamant response, the mum-of-five said: "I learnt that from back in the day with Dane Bowers – never. I always say to my kids, never – and I say to anyone who's listening from the younger generation – send a picture to anyone naked showing your bits."
"One, it's in the Cloud. You never know, it can be shared. Never do it. So I would never do it. And he said it as a joke in a voice note somewhere and I sent it to my sister because the email came through to us and I said, 'Look, he said it as a joke'."
"I said I haven't even done a sex tape and then it's come out."
Cryptic admission and love confession
Katie did, however, cryptically admit that she's "not saying everyone's lying" and you "can't have smoke without fire", adding that she'd be asking her new husband "questions".
She said she didn't want to be in a relationship with anyone who's "proper scamming other people". Katie also confessed that she's still in "love" with Lee, despite everything, saying the man she knows is "not like that".
Katie added: "I'm a hopeless romantic, but one thing I will say, I will never let a man hurt me again."
Podcast discussion
Late last month, Katie and her sister, Sophie, addressed the matter on The Katie Price Show podcast. Sophie branded it "disgusting", adding that it was "f*****g out of order" that he was talking about Katie "in that context".
Katie also reiterated on the podcast that she and Lee hadn't filmed a sex tape, while claiming that he was "joking" in the voice note. She said: "But besides all of this, there is so much coming out about Lee and everyone is saying, 'Why isn't Kate talking?' Do you know why I'm not talking? Because there is so much, I'm just not commenting anymore."
"I commented when he went missing, but he's in prison, and I will be questioning him about a lot of things when he's out."
