Katie Price has spoken out about her long-rumoured feud with Victoria Beckham, saying she has "no problem" with the former Spice Girl. The 48-year-old's comments come after a clip of Beckham discussing her went viral online.
What Victoria Beckham said in 2000
In 2000, Beckham, now 52, was asked on T4 about Price. She said she knew who Price was, as they had crossed paths when Price's then-boyfriend, Dane Bowers, helped Beckham with her solo music.
"Now I don't really know her anymore," Beckham said. "I very much doubt we would ever become best friends." The comment was widely seen as a dig at Price and has fuelled feud rumours for 26 years.
Katie Price's response
Price has now addressed the speculation with a frank message on Instagram. Sharing the clip, she wrote: "I have no problem with @victoriabeckham either [red heart emoji]. She is an amazing business woman."
Rumours of a feud first began after Beckham worked with Dane on a single after leaving the Spice Girls. Price later said she thought something was going on between them. In her autobiography, Being Jordan, she wrote: "I thought something was going on, I thought, 'Is he obsessed with her?'"
A history of digs
Price dated Another Level singer Dane from 1998 to 2000. She has called him the "love of her life" but claimed they split after he cheated on her. In her documentary, she admitted planning revenge: "I think when you're that hurt and love someone, you want them to want you and so it's like, a revenge thing, what can you do?"
She added that her relationship with Dwight Yorke, father of her eldest child Harvey, "wasn't love" but "f***ing massive revenge on Dane". Price also criticised Beckham in interviews for wearing a fake lip ring, to which Beckham responded: "Jordan does full frontals with her crotch and t**s out and she says I'm a bad influence by wearing a fake ring? I think she's vile."
Both were said to have taken digs at each other privately. Price claimed Beckham used to sing Who Let The Dogs Out? whenever she came near, saying in a 2024 podcast: "I remember them days with Victoria Beckham. When she sang Who Let The Dogs Out at me in the Manchester United Lounge."
Earlier this year, Price called Beckham's documentary "boring" while promoting her own. Speaking to The Sun, she said she wouldn't watch Beckham's Netflix documentary because it was "manufactured, edited and boring".
Last month, on her podcast, Price said she had "no issue with Victoria". She added: "There's no feud between us. Well, I don't know if she has one against me, if I saw her, I'd say hello, I haven't got a problem with her."
