Katie Price has defended her husband Lee Andrews, insisting his alleged sex tape claims were 'a joke' and that she hasn't even made one with him. The reality star spoke out on Andrew Gold's Heretics podcast after reports last month suggested Andrews had tried to sell a sex tape featuring the couple for £250,000.

The Dubai-based businessman, 42, was reportedly recorded saying he needed 'to get cash quickly' and could release a sex tape with his wife, adding, 'it might go for a pretty penny… So see if a newspaper will pay for that — quarter of a million f***ing quid…' He was said to have backtracked after discovering it was illegal, claiming he wasn't serious.
On the podcast, Katie said: 'He said it as a joke, in a voice note to someone, and I sent it to my sister because the email came through to us. I said: "Look Soph, he's said it as a joke." I said: "I haven't even done a sex tape and then it's come out."'
Andrews' history of controversies
Since marrying Katie, Lee has faced multiple accusations. He presented himself as a multi-millionaire CEO and investor, but his business claims were questioned, and celebrity photos were alleged to be AI-generated. He was banned from leaving Dubai after reportedly serving time in Al Awir prison over a suspected fraud involving a £200,000 mortgage in an ex-girlfriend's name.
