Katie Price accused of hijacking Princess Andre's NTAs moment

Katie Price has been accused of hijacking her daughter Princess Andre's big moment at the National Television Awards on Tuesday night. The 48-year-old made an unexpected appearance on the red carpet at London's O2 Arena, where Princess, 18, was walking with her older brother Junior.

According to a source speaking to the Mirror, Katie was 'stalking' her daughter on the carpet, ready to pounce for a joint photo. Another insider told the Daily Mail that Princess and Junior had no choice when Katie walked straight onto the red carpet to stand with her.

Forced to pose

"[Princess] and Junior had no choice. Katie walked straight onto the red carpet to stand with her and hijacked her big moment," the source said. Princess and Junior had been escorted up the red carpet after participating in interviews with members of the press.

The source added: "It took them so long that they hadn't made it far down the carpet when Katie pulled up wearing heavy make-up. She skipped out all the press and strode straight over to them and grabbed them for a picture." Junior, however, seemingly avoided having any photos with his mother.

Striking looks

Princess, who stars in her own ITV reality show, dazzled in a light-blue ruffled gown with her blonde hair styled into loose waves. Meanwhile, Katie put on a striking display in a white shirt and tiny black-and-nude lace shorts, with black tights. She wore heavy black eye make-up, a bold tan, and her raven hair swept back in a wet-look.

Katie was invited to the event following the success of her Louis Theroux documentary. Just hours before the ceremony, she revealed she had been left with a black eye after undergoing a cosmetic procedure in Brussels.

Cosmetic procedure

Speaking on Instagram, Katie said: "So everyone it is National TV Awards. What did Price do yesterday? So, I went to Brussels because one of my boobs was still slightly bigger than the other. So, they put a new implant in, and while they were there, I said, 'Oh, go on, just put a bit more in both of them.'"

She also had filler put in her face, later explaining that it made her look "like a hamster." Katie said: "Where my face was hollow here as you get older and lose weight, he put filler in for me, obviously while I was asleep. He does it under the muscle right into the bone. I've woken up this morning, I didn't have anything put here, nothing, but I think the swelling has dropped so I look like a hamster and it's sore."

The Mirror has approached Katie's spokesperson for comment.
