The Princess of Wales has made a surprise appearance at Royal Ascot, alongside her husband Prince William, King Charles and Queen Camilla. It is the first time in three years that Kate Middleton has taken part in the royal procession at the storied horse race, following her recovery from cancer. The princess looped the grounds in a horse-drawn carriage before arriving in the royal box to watch the day's spectacle.
Recycled Roksanda Dress
For the occasion, she recycled a Roksanda dress she previously wore in 2022 to present the Wimbledon trophy. No stranger to outfit repetition, the architectural dress is distinguished by its striking canary yellow finish. Kate also wore the colour on Saturday, albeit a more buttery shade. At the annual Order of the Garter Service in Windsor, the princess wore a bespoke Patrick McDowell yellow tailored coat-dress with a fit and flare cut.
Summer's Must-Have Shade
Doubling down on yellow as the shade of the season, the royal is providing plenty of inspiration for summer occasion-wear dressing. Whether you're heading to the races, Wimbledon or a wedding, I've found four high street dresses that create a similarly stylish look.
