Kate Lawler suffered an awkward fall while drunk at a wedding. The Big Brother star, 46, joked she was a "broken woman" after the incident, sharing a video on Instagram that left followers in stitches.
The Fall
Lawler was in Portugal for her brother's wedding, where she served as a bridesmaid. In the clip, she stood on a chair at the reception, moving her arms to signal everyone to sit down. But when she bounced up and down, she lost her footing and fell backwards onto the floor. After the tumble, she rolled onto her torso before being helped back up.
She quickly jumped back onto the chair, with her dad standing behind to prevent another fall. Captioning the post, she wrote: "This is why I shouldn't drink alcohol." She later joked she was a "broken woman" as Céline Dion's 'My Heart Will Go On' played over the video.
Girls Aloud's Kimberley Walsh commented: "Bloody brilliant" with a laughing emoji. Anna Williamson wrote: "Pahahahahahaha iconic." A fan said: "You styled it out bloody hilarious," while another added: "It's the roll and the styling out that done it for me."
Aftermath
In another video, Lawler said: "Gosh, I'm a broken woman. In the words of Ian Beale... 'I've got nothing left'. Three days of drinking, partying, dancing, shouting, eating, and not sleeping... I'm done. I'm done in." She later applied a face mask as she headed home in the car.

The antics come after Lawler opened up about reactions to having only one child. Writing for Metro, she said: "As the world gets crazier, I've never been more secure in my belief that my family of three is perfect." Before daughter Noa, she had no intentions of having a child until her husband Martin persuaded her over six years. "It was the best decision we've ever made," she added. She noted that even after becoming a mother, she is "hounded with abuse" for not giving Noa a sibling, saying: "I don't know if it's ever possible to escape mum guilt."
