Amber Munro, a well-known karaoke host in Newcastle, is engaged after her boyfriend Karl Purvis proposed during Luke Combs' sold-out concert at Wembley Stadium.
A night to remember
Amber, from Gateshead, had a night off from hosting karaoke to see her favorite singer, country star Luke Combs, with Karl. The couple attended the concert along with tens of thousands of other fans.
As Luke performed his song 'Beautiful Crazy', Karl got down on one knee, and the crowd erupted in cheers. Amber described the moment: "I was so shocked and overwhelmed. I couldn't process what happened straight away and when I did my legs went like jelly."
Crowd goes wild
Fans around the couple started cheering as soon as they realized what was happening. Amber added: "The crowd went crazy - girls were screaming clapping and also a couple cried."
The couple celebrated with prosecco at a pub near Wembley and are now looking forward to their engagement party.
Love story
Amber and Karl, who is from Washington, have been together since May 2024 after meeting on the dating website Plenty of Fish. They have been "inseparable" since their first date.
Amber joked about Karl's choice of song: "He says Beautiful Crazy was written about me!"
