Strictly Come Dancing star Kai Widdrington has been sharing 'exciting news' with fans ahead of his confirmed return to the BBC ballroom later this year. The professional dancer was named in the pro line-up when it was revealed by the BBC last month, following his partnership with reality TV star and radio presenter Vicky Pattison during the 2025 series.

Responding to being announced for Strictly 2026, he wrote on social media: "Back for my 6th season on @bbcstrictly. Every year brings new challenges, new partnerships, and new moments that remind me why I love what I do. To still be part of this incredible show is something I never take for granted. Grateful for the journey so far, hungry for what’s still to come, and ready to give absolutely everything once again. Season 6… let’s do this."
