Justin Bieber's mother, Pattie Mallette, has posted a prayer for her son's 'healing' and 'protection' on Instagram, following the news that he will headline Coachella in 2026. The message comes amid months of concerning behaviour from the Canadian singer, including dishevelled social media posts and references to a 'detox'.
In her post, Pattie wrote: 'I declare freedom, strength, clarity, and healing over you Justin. Every chain of fear, confusion, heaviness, and pain—be broken in Jesus’ name.' She also called for the Holy Spirit to surround him with truth, light, and protection, and to silence any voices not from God.
Fans expressed concern in the comments, though some suggested the prayer was simply a way of congratulating her son. Justin recently secured a record-breaking deal to headline Coachella in April 2026, reportedly earning over $10 million (£7.3 million), making him the highest-paid performer in the festival's history.
The singer has also released two albums this year, 'Swag' and 'Swag II', without an agent, meaning he retains a larger share of the Coachella fee. An insider described this as 'the start of an exciting new era for Justin'.
