Justin Bieber has offered fans a rare glimpse of his son, Jack Blues, in a new Instagram post. The 31-year-old singer and his wife, Hailey Baldwin, 28, welcomed their child in August last year, but have largely kept the baby out of the public eye.
The carousel of pictures shows the young boy, who now has a full head of hair, with the pop star writing that he dedicates his son “to Jesus”. The post is soundtracked to MANIAC by Eddie Benjamin, a track some fans believe may reference recent headlines about concern over Bieber’s mental health. Additional images feature Baldwin at what appears to be a fashion fitting and Bieber in the studio.
The post follows an emotional message earlier this month in which Bieber admitted to feeling “like a fraud” and “unqualified most days”. In that Instagram post, he wrote: “People told me my whole life ‘wow Justin u deserve that’ and I personally have always felt unworthy like I was a fraud... I definitely feel unequipped and unqualified most days.”
Bieber first found fame in 2008 when talent manager Scooter Braun discovered him through YouTube. At just 13, his debut single One Time was released in 2009, followed by the platinum-selling album My World and global hits such as Baby and Sorry.
However, concern for the singer has been mounting. He recently posted a video of himself and a friend rapping on a private jet about getting “high”. The video appeared less than two days after representatives for Bieber and Baldwin jointly denied that he is taking illegal drugs, describing public speculation over his mental and physical health as “exhausting and pitiful”.
