Strictly's Jowita Przystal says 'heart melts' over Pete Wicks' new dog show

Strictly Come Dancing professional Jowita Przystal has shared a heartfelt message for her former celebrity partner Pete Wicks as she tuned into his new television series, Pete Wicks For Dogs' Sake. The 31-year-old dancer took to social media with a photo of her TV screen, expressing her pride in the former TOWIE star.

In the post, she wrote: "No words can describe how proud I am of you. You're one of the most passionate and hardworking people I've ever met." She praised his unconditional love for dogs, adding: "Every time I see you with them, my heart melts. The care, patience and compassion you show are truly beautiful." She went on to say the show would be a huge success because it was "made with love".

The pair faced intense speculation about a romance during their time on Strictly last year, with rumours reigniting last month when Jowita appeared at Pete's podcast show at the O2 Arena. They performed a dance together and shared kisses on stage. However, Pete later told This Morning that the moment was "all part of the choreography" and "the magic of showbiz", describing Jowita as a good friend.

The speculation was further fuelled weeks earlier when Pete took part in a lie detector test on his podcast. Asked by Sam Thompson if he was in love with somebody, he answered 'no' but was proven to be lying as the polygraph examiner gave a thumbs down.

Fans reacted to the pair's intimate dance, with some calling it a "hard launch" of a relationship. Pete's new series, Pete Wicks For Dogs' Sake, sees him helping dogs find their forever homes, a cause Jowita described as life-changing for the animals.
