Professor Green has launched a scathing attack on journalist Katie Hind, branding her a 'fat pig faced c**t of a no news wh*re' after she wrote articles about him and Lily Allen. The rapper, real name Stephen Manderson, accused Hind of putting his life and privacy at risk by printing his address in a piece he described as 'disgusting'.
The row began when Lily Allen, now known as Lily Cooper, reacted to an article by Hind that claimed she was attending a boot camp to lose baby weight. Cooper denied speaking to Hind, tweeting: 'Such a liar, I didn't even go backstage at glasto. Certainly didn't talk to this dude.' Hind responded, insisting Cooper had told her at the Groucho club.
Professor Green then joined the argument, tweeting: 'She practically printed my address - she's a fat pig faced c**t of a no news wh*re.' He later apologised for using the word 'wh*re' but stood by his criticism, saying Hind was a 'sad malicious tragic and vindictive woman'.
Hind, who writes for The Sunday People, had previously faced backlash from Cooper's followers after the singer denied the claims. Hind tweeted: 'Thanks for setting your "trolls" on me, @lilyrosecooper!'
Green, who is preparing for a UK tour in November to support his latest album, said most journalists are not malicious but there are 'a few rotten apples'. He added: 'I've worked my arse off to make good of my life, only to have everything I've worked for put at risk.'
