Strictly Come Dancing presenter Josh Widdicombe stripped off during the latest recording of his podcast Parenting Hell as he shared the unglamorous side of being a touring comedian.
Josh Shocks Co-Host by Removing His Shirt
The 43-year-old comedian was handed a football shirt by co-host Rob Beckett, 40, and immediately took his top off to try it on, leaving Rob and viewers stunned. Beckett laughed: "Oh, you're going fully... Yeah. Honestly, I've never seen anyone get undressed for no reason without anyone noticing."
Struggles on Tour
Elsewhere, Josh admitted he's struggling with his current tour Not My Cup of Tea, saying he's "f*****" and having to "pump up" a "lilo" so that he can "have a little sleep" on the road. He was even booked into a "cheap" windowless hotel in a bid to save on costs.
Looking fed up, the Last Leg star moaned: "I go in, and I wish I took a photo, I thought 'I'll take a photo of that in the morning' because it is so bad. It's a mattress on the floor, there's a raised wooden bit like a futon, but basically that takes up the whole wall - So the mattress is the whole wall."
He added: "The only other thing that was in the room was a sink and a shower and a toilet, in the same room, no tea making facilities, no desk... No window!" He also noted the room "was so cold at night I was shivering" and called it "the bleakest place" he's ever been.
New Role on Strictly
Josh was announced as the host of Strictly Come Dancing alongside Emma Willis and Johannes Radebe last month and revealed his daughter is "excited" for him to take on the role replacing Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly. He previously said of his new job: "I am giddy with excitement, honoured and a little overawed to be given the chance into the biggest shoes on television."
