Jonathan Bailey cheers on Ariana Grande at O2 finale

Jonathan Bailey, Ariana Grande's Wicked co-star, was spotted dancing at the singer's final night at London's O2 arena.

The Thursday performance was the last of Grande's 10 nights at the north Greenwich venue, where Bailey was seen in the crowd. Video taken by fans shows the 38-year-old, who played Fiyero in the 2024 and 2025 films, beaming up at the stage as Grande performed on the final London night of her Eternal Sunshine tour.

Fans react to Bailey's appearance

“Fiyero still showing up for Glinda off-script,” one fan wrote, whilst another said: “The way he still shows up for her after everything is so sweet honestly that man is a real one.”

“Ugh and now we don’t even get to see them work together again. I hope they do something else in the future,” another lamented.

Grande's Barbican exit

Grande was due to star alongside Bailey in an upcoming production of Sunday in the Park with George at the Barbican Theatre. However, she dropped out as she announced she was taking a step back from public life following the conclusion of her tour. Her role is due to be recast, and the 2027 production is still going ahead.

“She looks forward to finishing the tour and ending it on a high note, both healthily and happily, and then taking a much-deserved break from public-facing work and appearances, which has led to endless, ongoing public scrutiny,” a representative for Grande said. “This tour has been a beautiful experience for her. She loves her fans and has loved every minute of this tour so much.”

Cynthia Erivo joined Grande on stage

Bailey is not the only one of Grande's Wicked co-stars to attend her O2 residency. Last week, the 33-year-old singer brought Cynthia Erivo, who played Elphaba, out on stage. The pair, who were both Oscar nominated for their roles, sang “For Good” and “Get Happy/Happy Days Are Here Again”.

After the show, Grande shared a clip of the two on stage together to her Instagram Stories, with a heart emoji.
