In an exclusive revelation, reality television stars JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes have disclosed that they are already planning for a family together, including selecting potential baby names, less than a year after meeting on the hit show Celebrity Big Brother. The couple, who have been openly discussing marriage and children, shared their heartfelt aspirations in a recent interview, highlighting the rapid progression of their romance.
Destiny and Family Bonds
JoJo Siwa, the 22-year-old former Dance Moms star, expressed a strong belief that her relationship with Chris Hughes, a 33-year-old ITV Racing presenter and former Love Island contestant, is fated. "I have names that I really, really like and that I've spoken to him about. But I've never said them publicly," JoJo revealed, emphasizing the private nature of their discussions. She added that their deep integration into each other's family lives reinforces her conviction that Chris is 'The One'. "I have a relationship with his family. He has a relationship with my family. It just feels like destiny," she stated.
Future Parenting Plans
Despite her own success in the dance world, JoJo admitted she might steer her future children away from following in her footsteps. "I talk about it to Chris all the time... I don't know if I would want my kid to dance. Obviously, if they want to, I would be open to it," she explained. Instead, she humorously pondered exploring other interests, such as raising a professional tennis player, showcasing her desire to learn new parenting skills.
Chris Hughes echoed JoJo's sentiments, sharing his own dreams of starting a family. "We genuinely speak to each other about this, I would be lying if I said we didn't," he confessed. He expressed his love for JoJo, calling her "totally in love with" and affirming his intentions to marry her. "When you're besotted with each other and in love with someone, I think it's fun to look forward to those things. Of course I want to get married to her, I would never shy away from that. And one day I want to have children," Chris said, noting their wholesome family backgrounds as inspiration.
Navigating Public Scrutiny
The couple's relationship has not been without controversy, particularly regarding JoJo's identity. In September last year, JoJo insisted she is not straight, despite being in love with Chris, and refuses to accept labels, even after facing backlash from some in the LGBTQ+ community. She defended Chris against criticism from his Love Island ex, Olivia Attwood, stating she would not engage in social media conflicts. "It doesn't affect me because I have a loving partner," JoJo asserted, highlighting her focus on their bond.
From Bows to Big Dreams
JoJo's rise to fame began with her signature hair bows, which became an international craze and sold for £8 to £12 at Claire’s Accessories. "I’ve always just worn bows. They just got bigger and better and sparklier - and then I became ‘JoJo with the bow bow’ and it became a thing," she recalled, reflecting on her entrepreneurial success as a teen. Now, with Chris by her side, she is looking forward to new chapters, including potential parenthood and marriage.
The pair first connected in the Celebrity Big Brother house last April, and their relationship has since blossomed into serious discussions about the future. As they continue to share their journey with fans, JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes remain optimistic about building a life together, filled with love, family, and the baby names they have already chosen in private.
