A Florida judge has officially declared Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas divorced, signing off on a confidential agreement that ends their five-year marriage. The Miami-Dade County judge approved the settlement on Friday, one year after Jonas filed for divorce from the Game of Thrones actress.
The couple, who share two daughters—Willa, four, and Delphine, two—have agreed to share custody after resolving a bitter dispute over where the children would live. Turner had previously sued Jonas, claiming he prevented the girls from returning to the UK. Court documents indicate that moderated negotiations led to an agreement on splitting assets, spousal support, and custody.
Judge Gina Beovides declared the marriage “irretrievably broken” and stated that the parenting plan was in the best interest of the family. The pair announced their “amicable” divorce in summer 2023, but tensions escalated publicly before the recent resolution.
Turner and Jonas began dating in 2016 after meeting at the MTV Europe Music Awards. They got engaged in 2017 and married in a lavish ceremony in the south of France in 2019. The couple had two daughters and were often seen as a Hollywood power couple before their split.
