Jesy Nelson's Sister Defends Her Against Perrie Edwards' 'Difficult' Claim
Jesy Nelson's Sister Hits Back at Perrie Edwards' Comments

Jesy Nelson's sister has fiercely defended the singer after former Little Mix bandmate Perrie Edwards labelled her 'difficult' and said she sees no future friendship between them.

Jade Nelson Speaks Out

Jade Nelson took to Instagram to hit back at the comments made by Perrie Edwards during an appearance on Jamie Laing's Great Company podcast. She expressed frustration with what she called 'lies and accusations' and defended her sister's struggles.

Jade wrote: 'People say in life be the bigger person, keep quiet, but actually sometimes it doesn't do any good. I've watched my sister go through hell and back for many many years and very few will only ever understand what it's like to be tormented, bullied and pulled down for the way you look.'

She added: 'It's really easy to say just ignore it, but until you are in that situation yourself you will never ever really know how it will affect them.'

Mental Health Struggles

Jade highlighted the severity of Jesy's mental health issues, referencing suicide attempts. 'But I think when you attempt to end your life not once, but twice it shows the dark place you must be in and YES that was with a lack of support many many times,' she said.

Jesy Nelson has previously spoken openly about her mental health battles. Jade continued: 'As for not taking accountability, that is actually all she's done, she's fully aware she was hard work. She's fully aware she was hard to deal with but through it all if any other single person were struggling with a break up, anxiety, life, she was there! Isn't that what you do as friends or if you love someone?'

Perrie Edwards' Comments

Perrie had told Jamie Laing: 'What annoys me the most, and again I have to be careful how I say this as I don't want to seem like a b**** but for me what upsets me the most is when situations like this happen and the other person doesn't take any accountability, that boils my blood! I am not blaming everything on you, I am not saying that she's this f****** monster and everything was her thought blah, blah, blah but take some accountability for your actions and realise you were difficult, you did have difficult moments.'

Band History

Jesy left Little Mix in December 2020 after nine years, citing the toll on her mental health. The remaining members continued as a trio before pursuing solo projects. In a recent documentary, Jesy said she hadn't seen her former bandmates for nearly five years but didn't rule out a reunion. Perrie's comments now make that seem unlikely.

Jade Nelson's defence has sparked further discussion among fans, with many supporting her stance on mental health and friendship.
