Former Little Mix star Jesy Nelson has fuelled fresh romance speculation after enjoying an evening out with a mystery man on Friday. This outing comes just three months after her split from Zion Foster, with whom she shares twin daughters diagnosed with a rare genetic condition.
Instagram Story Hints at Date Night
Sharing an update to her Instagram Story, Jesy uploaded a photo showing her out for cocktails in what appeared to be a date night setting. The image captured a man's hand holding one drink while Jesy sat beside him, clutching the stem of her glass as they perched at the bar. The singer included no additional information in the update, though she had also been out for a game of Padel earlier in the same day.

Recent Split and Family Health Challenges
Jesy, 34, ended her four-year relationship with Zion Foster, 27, in January. This split came just weeks after the couple announced their twin daughters, Ocean Jade and Story Monroe, had been diagnosed with SMA Type 1. This rare genetic condition causes progressive muscle wastage and requires significant medical attention.
A source close to the couple revealed in January: 'She and Zion remain friends and are fully focused on their daughters.' The source further explained to The Sun: 'Their priority continues to be the well-being of their daughters. They are fully united in co-parenting.'
Complicated Pregnancy and Diagnosis Journey
Jesy had hoped to finally embrace motherhood after experiencing a complicated pregnancy. During this period, she learned her daughters were monochorionic diamniotic (MCDA) identical twins who had developed twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS), a rare condition where both babies share a placenta.
While relieved when the twins were born healthy, her joy was shattered six months later when the SMA diagnosis arrived. Jesy has since become an advocate for newborn screening, campaigning for all infants to be tested for spinal muscular atrophy at birth. She insists that early diagnosis is crucial, as a one-time infusion can significantly improve muscle development in affected children.
Zion Foster's Emotional Tribute
Four days after their split was announced, Zion shared a self-written poem on social media that centred on acceptance as he comes to terms with the day-to-day reality of seeing his daughters with the condition. The heartfelt message also praised Jesy as a mother.
He read: 'They said it's unlikely you'll walk, you may not be able to talk, probably won't be able to hold your head up, that's what me and Jesy heard - SMA Type 1.'
Zion continued: 'And it became so clear, doctors only go near what they can measure, so what's certain? I watch your smiles like sunsets, not promised, but real. I listen to you babble the sweetest melodies, in the moment it makes me wonder, if I keep telling you who I want you to be, what I want you to do, what I expect from you, am I loving you, or am I loving my fear?'
He added: 'Story, is your heart okay? Ocean, how's your mind? I hear strength in your lungs every time you cry, two little warrior girls who already know how to fight. Honestly, my worry isn't the milestones, isn't forcing life to live a different way. My worry is quieter than that, deeper. It's about accepting you, loving you for who you are right now, without conditions. No matter what tomorrow brings, and no matter what yesterday was.'
Advocacy for SMA Screening
Captioning his emotional post, Zion praised Jesy for highlighting England's lack of birth screening for SMA Type 1. He wrote: 'We are all one. Jesy addressing a huge flaw in our healthcare system is the definition of a superwoman. Reality is, it’s indefensible and needs to be changed, simple. Test kids at birth for SMA in the UK now that there are revolutionary treatments available.'
He concluded by thanking the SMA community and wider community of those living with unique challenges for their support: 'Thank you to the SMA community and wider community of those living with more unique challenges for accepting us, supporting us and fighting with us.'
