Little Mix star Jesy Nelson has reportedly called off her engagement to Rixton singer Jake Roche, with friends claiming there is 'no going back'. The couple, who began dating in summer 2014, are said to have grown apart after a series of rows.
An insider told The Sun Online: 'Their relationship became strained and they grew apart. They started rowing and it became too much.' Another source added: 'It's over as far as Jesy's concerned and there's no going back. The wedding is off and her engagement ring won't be going back on.'
The 25-year-old singer has been spotted without her ring in recent weeks and unfollowed Roche on Instagram on 8 November. He subsequently removed romantic photos from his account. Nelson is now said to be focusing on work and planning to travel with her bandmates.
Earlier this month, Nelson insisted in an interview that the couple were still engaged but 'in no rush' to marry, saying they were 'very much in love'. A spokesman for Little Mix declined to comment on the singer's private life.
