Jessica Plummer Debuts New Boyfriend After Ben Hardy Split

EastEnders star Jessica Plummer has introduced her new boyfriend to the world on social media, more than three years after her split from Ben Hardy. The 33-year-old actress and singer, known for playing Chantelle Atkins on the BBC soap from March 2019 to September 2020, posted a mirror selfie on her Instagram Stories showing her smiling as a man plants a kiss on her lips. The photo, taken in an elevator, was captioned with Kendrick Lamar's song LOVE.

Soft Launch on Social Media

This marks the first time Plummer has shared news of her relationship with her 276,000 followers. She has not revealed the man's identity, but a source told The Sun that they have been seeing each other for a while. 'He's not Jessica's new man, they've been seeing each other for a while. She just felt like now was the right time to share the news with fans,' the insider said.

Past Relationship with Ben Hardy

The soft launch comes over three years after Plummer and Hollywood star Ben Hardy, 35, ended their relationship. The couple sparked romance rumors in summer 2021 after meeting on the set of the BBC/HBO psychological thriller The Girl Before. They went public in December 2021 but split after 18 months due to conflicting work schedules. A source said in March 2023: 'Ben and Jessica were besotted with each other but work has meant they spent a lot of time apart. Over time it's taken its toll and recently they decided to call it a day.'
