Anne Hathaway was spotted enjoying a leisurely stroll in New York City on Tuesday, dressed down in a grey knitted jumper and skintight jeans, and accessorising with her favourite black beret, which she wore twice in one day.
The 31-year-old actress shielded her eyes with grey transparent rimmed sunglasses and added a hint of rose pink rouge to her lips. Earlier in the day, she had worn a midnight blue tank top with glossy black boots and a little black purse.
The outing came after a busy period of red carpet appearances for the world-wide premieres of her highly anticipated film Interstellar, in which she plays Dr. Amelia Brand. The Christopher Nolan-directed film follows astronauts travelling through a wormhole to find a new home for humanity.
Speaking at a press conference, Hathaway revealed the physical demands of the role: 'I had to work out to wear that heavy space suit! I thought because I didn't have to wear a catsuit this time I was okay but I still needed to go to the gym just to wear that heavy suit!'
She also shared her thoughts on extraterrestrial life, saying: 'I've never had any problem with the idea that there is other life in the universe... I've always thought it's highly unlikely there's nothing out there.'
