Jeremy Clarkson has sparked speculation about a potential marriage proposal after sharing a birthday tribute to his partner Lisa Hogan on Instagram. The 64-year-old presenter posted a photo of Lisa, who turned 51, wearing a top hat and scarf, with the caption 'Birthday Girl'.
Fans of the couple, who star together in the Amazon Prime series Clarkson's Farm, flooded the comments with calls for Clarkson to propose. One wrote: 'When are you gonna propose', while another urged: 'Marry her for crying out loud'. A third added: 'Better put a ring on it! Happy Birthday Lisa'.
The speculation was fuelled further by a scene from the latest series of Clarkson's Farm, where Clarkson led Lisa through a field and said: 'I've got a big surprise for you'. Lisa replied: 'Ah, is it a proposal? Every time you say you've got a surprise I think "he's going to propose". Every time.'
Clarkson and Hogan have been together for seven years, and their relationship has been documented on screen across three seasons of the farming show. Despite the fans' enthusiasm, neither Clarkson nor Hogan has confirmed any engagement plans.
