Jennifer Lawrence Embraces Motherhood in NYC Snow With Newborn Son
Jennifer Lawrence Steps Out in NYC Snow With Baby Son

Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence was spotted embracing the winter weather in New York City on Tuesday, stepping out with her newborn baby son amidst a gentle snowfall. The 35-year-old star, who welcomed her second child with husband Cooke Maroney in early 2025, looked every bit the devoted mother as she navigated the city streets.

A Cozy Winter Outing

Lawrence, known for her roles in The Hunger Games and Red Sparrow, opted for a practical yet stylish ensemble to combat the chilly conditions. She wore a dark gray puffer coat with a hood, layered over a light gray top and an additional white sweater for extra warmth. Her outfit was completed with navy blue balloon pants, brown suede boots, and a black rectangular purse.

Keeping her blonde hair down and going makeup-free, the actress added a fuzzy, dark brown hat to her look. Her radiant appearance highlighted her contentment during this family moment.

Focus on Family Life

Pushing her baby son in a stroller, Lawrence ensured the infant was snugly wrapped in a cozy blanket and wore an adorable pair of tan winter boots. This outing comes just weeks after she publicly identified most strongly as a 'stay-at-home mom' to her two boys, despite her demanding career.

Lawrence and Maroney, who married in 2019, are also parents to three-year-old son Cy, born in February 2022. The name of their second child has not yet been revealed to the public.

Balancing Hollywood and Home

In a recent appearance on the SmartLess podcast, Lawrence offered rare insights into her private life. She explained to hosts Will Arnett, Jason Bateman, and Sean Hayes that when not working on film sets or global press tours, she cherishes quiet time with her family.

'That's me. I identify as a stay-at-home mom. But I am obviously working,' she stated, acknowledging the dual nature of her responsibilities.

Strict Routines and Personal Boundaries

The actress has been actively promoting her psychological drama Die My Love, released in November and co-starring Robert Pattinson. Her performance earned a Best Actress nomination at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards, with the film garnering three wins and 39 nominations worldwide, according to IMDb.

Despite this hectic schedule, Lawrence maintains strict personal boundaries to prioritise her family. She revealed she refuses interviews after 9 p.m., preferring an early bedtime routine with her children. 'Oh, I'm in bed. Kindle is lit until like 9:15,' she quipped when asked about working at night.

She even declined a Christmas party invitation last year because it started at 9 p.m., noting, 'You can't be hungover with a nine-month-old. Even a three year old is just not an option.'

Marriage and Adaptation

Lawrence also shared how she and Maroney, whom she describes as her 'opposite', keep their marriage thriving. 'I married somebody who is the opposite of me. He is so organized. He's an anchor,' she explained, highlighting his role in maintaining order.

With their children on a strict schedule—breakfast at 7:30 a.m., for example—the couple has learned to adapt. Lawrence humorously noted, 'But we've learned, to keep our marriage alive, I have 15-minute wiggle room.'

This blend of Hollywood glamour and grounded family life continues to endear Jennifer Lawrence to fans, showcasing her commitment to motherhood amidst the demands of stardom.
