Jenna Ortega has addressed a wardrobe malfunction at the premiere of Scream VI, after a blue Sharpie mark appeared on her couture dress.
The 20-year-old actress attended the screening in New York on Monday night wearing a black and white design by Olivier Rousteing for Jean Paul Gaultier. The structured shirt-dress featured a white bustier top and black blazer, and the mark is thought to have occurred while she was signing autographs for fans.
In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Ortega joked about the stain, using hashtags including "#sharpiestainwhogivesas***" and apologising to Rousteing. Fans responded in the comments, with one comparing the mark to a blue verified check mark, while the official Scream Instagram account asked: "How well does the red carpet hide blood stains?"
Ortega is set to make her Saturday Night Live hosting debut on 11 March. She recently told Elle magazine that the idea of relationships stresses her out, adding: "I hate being googoogaga over a boy."
