Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo to Continue IVF Despite Divorce

American rap star Jelly Roll and his estranged wife Bunnie Xo have vowed to continue their journey to welcome a child together despite filing for divorce. The couple, who married in 2016, stunned fans this month when it was revealed they had ended their ten-year marriage. However, in a recent episode of her Dumb Blonde podcast, Bunnie Xo explained that they are still planning to have a baby through IVF.

Bunnie Xo Opens Up About Co-Parenting Plans

Taking to her podcast, Bunnie described Jelly Roll as her best friend and shared news of their continued plans to welcome and raise a child together. She told listeners: "The thing is, that's my f***ing best friend, dude. Like, I love him." She went on to say: "And - you guys are going to be shocked to hear this - but we're still having a baby. We're still having a baby together."

Bunnie emphasized that the split was amicable, stating: "Nobody cheated on the other person. It's literally just... we served our purpose for each other, and I'm excited to discover myself single." She added that they will co-parent and raise their child as "one big happy family."

IVF Journey and Heartbreak

Bunnie also revealed the struggles they have faced with IVF, saying: "Jay and I have lost four embryos. We have had three transfers, but we lost the two twins we were going to try to have, and then we lost two more." She described IVF as "one of the loneliest, darkest journeys you can be on." Despite the challenges, she remains committed to the process.

Jelly Roll, whose real name is Jason DeFord, 41, has two children from previous relationships, but he and Bunnie, 46, have not had a child together. They began IVF treatment two years ago.

Details of the Divorce Filing

Earlier this month, TMZ reported that Jelly Roll filed for divorce from Bunnie Xo, citing irreconcilable differences and listing the date of separation as the day before Mother's Day. According to Bunnie, the split stemmed from an argument on Mother's Day, during which she told him to "file the f***ing divorce papers." She explained that they had never been good at arguing and that they both held things in, leading to a "recipe for disaster."

Jelly Roll addressed the divorce during a concert in Saratoga Springs, New York, saying: "Me and my wife are best friends. We will always be best friends... Nobody cheated on nobody." He thanked her for the ten years of marriage and looked forward to their future friendship.
