Jason Kelce, the 38-year-old Philadelphia Eagles player and brother of Travis Kelce, has spoken publicly for the first time about Travis's wedding to global pop star Taylor Swift. The couple married in a secretive ceremony on 3 July 2026 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Jason made his initial comments while attending the 2026 ACC Golf Championship. As he walked to the course, a fan asked him about the wedding, which reportedly required guests to sign non-disclosure agreements. Jason responded, "It was a good time." Later, he added that it was "great" and, when asked about his alcohol consumption during the reception, admitted he went "way over" 15 beers. Jason served as best man, while Taylor's brother Austin was the man of honour.
Secretive Ceremony and Elaborate Preparations
To maintain secrecy, guests were required to surrender their phones before the wedding. Despite this, fans pieced together details from observations around the venue. Roads near Madison Square Garden were closed the day before to allow setup. Employees were seen bringing in set pieces to construct a castle inside the arena, and vans supplied food for a buffet that reportedly included lobster and fries.
The guest list exceeded 1,000 people. Notable attendees included Bradley Cooper, Zoe Kravitz, Hugh Grant, Ethan Hawke, and Taylor's friends Gigi Hadid and Selena Gomez. Karlie Kloss, previously thought to be in a feud with Taylor, was seen heading to the venue in a gold dress. Other celebrities included Lena Dunham and Jack Antonoff, Taylor's collaborator, who arrived with his sister rather than his wife Margaret Qualley, leading to speculation of a split.
Public Announcement and Wedding Favours
Fans and New Yorkers were alerted to the moment Travis and Taylor said "I do" by large signs around the venue reading "JUST&T MARRIED." After the ceremony, some guests posted details on Instagram. One post showed a Chanel bag won in a raffle, with other prizes including a Cartier watch and a car. Another guest revealed that the couple gave out handkerchiefs as wedding favours, embroidered with two Ts and the quote "So it's going to be forever..."—a lyric from Taylor's song "Blank Space," which continues with "or it's going to go down in flames."
