Jasmine Harman Relocates to Spain with Family After Two Decades on A Place In The Sun

A Place In The Sun presenter Jasmine Harman has moved to Spain with her husband Jon Boast and their two children, Albion and Joy. The family relocated to Estepona on the Costa del Sol in October 2023, seeking a better work-life balance and more time together.

Jasmine, who has hosted the property show since 2004, described the move as 'stressful and intense' but rewarding. She shared on Instagram that the family plans to make the most of their new life abroad. They have also adopted a stray kitten named Hazel.

In an interview with Hello magazine, Jasmine explained that the decision was driven by a desire to spend more time with her children. 'Our children mean the world to us. Everything we do is for them,' she said, adding that Spain offers more opportunities and a strong sense of community.

Jon, a cameraman who met Jasmine while filming A Place In The Sun in Portugal, now commutes to the UK for work. Despite the longer journey, he described their new home as a 'sanctuary' and a 'little haven'. The couple married in 2009 after a 'slow burn' romance.

The move comes after Jasmine faced personal challenges, including IVF struggles and the death of her co-star Jonnie Irvin. She has presented the show for over 20 years, alongside other series such as Britain's Compulsive Shoppers.
