James Jordan has spoken candidly about his life after his split from his wife Ola, admitting he is now living a meagre lifestyle in a one-bedroom apartment.

Earlier this month, it was revealed that Celebrity Big Brother star James, 48, and his wife Ola, 43, had split up. Despite being a stable couple for years, the couple admitted to pals that they could no longer keep their marriage going.

When asked about how he was doing while his marriage was breaking down, he candidly admitted: "It's been a tough few years. I moved out a few months ago, and it has been really tough. I find it hard to talk about, and I'm not going to speak about it too much, because I don't think it's fair on her. It's a tricky one."

James went on to say that former co-star Brendan Cole is often checking up with him, which James said he has come to appreciate. But he later revealed how he is trying to move on with his life, including his new living arrangements.

"I'm now sitting in a one bedroom apartment on my own, at night, watching TV, going 'what is going on?'" he admitted. "But I just feel I need that time to find myself again."

Statement on Instagram and Daughter Ella

James and Ola confirmed in a statement on Instagram that they were ending their marriage, admitting it was something they "never imagined" they would have to do. The statement confirmed that James and Ola are no longer living together due to "personal challenges" that have hit the couple.

The pair later said they are both reeling from the decision, adding it has already been an "emotional journey for the two of them." Now their priority is the parenting of their daughter Ella, with the couple vowing not to let their child get caught in their split. "She's at the centre of everything we do. We are committed to co-parenting her with all the love, care and stability she deserves."

James went on to write himself that his mental health "hasn't been in a good place for quite some time." He admitted he needed to remove himself from the situation for the sake of both himself and his daughter.
