Isabela Ferrer, who played a younger version of Blake Lively's character in the film It Ends With Us, has accused director Justin Baldoni of harassment amid his ongoing legal battle with Lively. Ferrer's legal team filed a motion on August 12 alleging that Baldoni subpoenaed her for “improper purposes” with “the aim of harassing.”
According to court documents obtained by People, Ferrer claims that when she requested Wayfarer Studios, Baldoni's production company, cover her legal fees, she was told she would have to “relinquish control of her response to the Lively subpoena to Wayfarer.” Her lawyers stated that “from that point forward, Baldoni has tried to manipulate, threaten, control and otherwise act inappropriately towards Ms. Ferrer.”
Ferrer was initially subpoenaed by Lively in February, and later by Baldoni. Her legal team described the motion as “yet another attempt to manipulate the press, to create havoc on a young, up-and-coming and talented actress and to violate this Court’s policies on the publishing of non-party personally identifying information.”
Blake Lively filed a lawsuit in December against Baldoni and his team, alleging sexual harassment and a retaliatory smear campaign. Baldoni's $400 million countersuit was dismissed by a judge in June. Ferrer has asked the court to deny Baldoni's motion and impose sanctions.
