The Isle of Wight Festival made a triumphant return over the weekend, delivering a star-studded lineup that included Calvin Harris, Lewis Capaldi, The Cure, Rita Ora, Perrie Edwards, and Rick Astley. The event once again proved why it remains a highlight of the summer festival calendar.
Rita Ora and Perrie Edwards Steal the Show
Rita Ora wowed the crowd in a daring metallic two-piece outfit, turning heads with her hot pants and matching bra on the main stage. Just days after her intimate wedding to footballer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in Portugal, Perrie Edwards looked every inch the rock chick in leather pants, performing with her band.
Headliners and Highlights
Calvin Harris closed out Saturday night with a high-energy set, while Lewis Capaldi entertained with his signature banter and heartfelt songs. The Cure headlined Sunday, delivering a classic performance. Rick Astley kept it simple in a white suit and sunglasses, performing hits like "Never Gonna Give You Up." Anastacia also performed classics such as "Left Outside Alone" and "I'm Outta Love" to an enthusiastic crowd.
Diverse Performances Across Stages
Sex Pistols with Frank Carter brought a louder, heavier set that had the audience jumping. The K's impressed at the Big Top stage, getting the crowd moving. Other notable acts included Five, with an animated Abz Love, Nathan Evans, and KT Tunstall. Teddy Swims delivered soulful vocals on the main stage on Saturday, wearing army print just before Calvin Harris's set.
According to the Daily Star, the festival showcased a mix of chart-toppers and rock legends, solidifying its reputation as a premier summer event. The weekend was filled with memorable moments and standout fashion, from Rita Ora's bold outfit to Perrie Edwards's post-wedding rock chick look.
