I'm A Celebrity in Talks with Mis-Teeq's Su-Elise Nash After Reunion
I'm A Celebrity in Talks with Mis-Teeq's Su-Elise Nash

I'm A Celebrity bosses are reportedly in talks with Mis-Teeq star Su-Elise Nash following her euphoric comeback with her bandmates at the end of last month. The Noughties girl group reunited for the first time in over two decades during the live final of Britain's Got Talent, and last weekend they performed as the Barclaycard Out of the Blue act at Capital FM's Summertime Ball at Wembley Stadium.

Su-Elise Nash Could Swap Stage for Jungle

According to sources, Su-Elise Nash is considering a full return to the spotlight. The singer, who lives in Australia, has kept a relatively low profile since Mis-Teeq disbanded in 2005. However, she took part in the BBC's Girlbands Forever series last year. Almost 20 years after she was first considered as a campmate for I'm A Celebrity, which later saw her bandmate Sabrina Washington enter the jungle in 2009, Su-Elise is back in talks with ITV.

A source told The Sun: "Su was incredibly supportive of Sabrina's jungle experience, now, she could get her own shot. There have been early talks with show bosses for her to be considered for it." Bosses reportedly want the upcoming series to be "must-watch TV" and have promised a diverse lineup of stars. The source added that Su-Elise has been "wanting to do I'm A Celebrity for a long time," and the timing is "perfect."

Mis-Teeq Reunion Plans

Last year, the Mirror revealed that "nothing was off the table" for Mis-Teeq ahead of their reunion, celebrating the 25th anniversary of their debut album, Lickin' On Both Sides. The record, initially released in 2001, reached No. 3 in the Official Album Charts. Speaking about the reunion, which includes an almost sold-out concert at Wembley Arena on September 12, a source said: "They will want to do something that's meaningful, but they haven't been in a room as a trio together since their split in 2005."

While the band is now on happy terms, fans should not expect a full-blown tour anytime soon. Speaking to the Mirror at the Summertime Ball, the band said: "We are doing a one-night stand with Mis-Teeq here in Wembley Arena on September 12, but that's the only thing we're doing at the moment. We don't have plans for new music right now. However, we are Mis-Teeq and sometimes things align, and we might go with them."

The group admitted it has taken a long time to reach this point. "It's taken 25 years to get to this point," they said. "It's really special. Wembley is such an iconic venue. So many incredible artists have performed here, and you can't help but be in awe of that."

The Mirror has approached I'm A Celebrity and Su-Elise's spokespeople for comment.
