Linda Bollea, the ex-wife of WWE legend Hulk Hogan, has died. The news comes just days after she shared a poignant throwback photo with the wrestling icon. Hogan himself passed away on Thursday at the age of 71, reportedly due to cardiac arrest at his home in Clearwater, Florida.
Linda, who married Hogan in 1983, posted a picture on Instagram of the couple at the 1996 NATPE Convention in Las Vegas. The image showed them in happier times, with Linda in a black gown and Hogan in his signature wrestling attire. The couple had two children, Brooke and Nick, and starred in the reality show 'Hogan Knows Best' from 2005 to 2007.
Their marriage ended in divorce in 2009, following Linda's filing in 2007. Despite the split, Linda once said, 'I still love him. He's the father of my children.' However, in later years, she made public claims about Hogan, calling him a 'complete liar' and 'sex addict,' and blamed him for her estrangement from their daughter Brooke.
Brooke, who has been no contact with both parents, alleged in March that she was 'extremely verbally and mentally abused' during her childhood, though she did not specify which parent. Linda denied the abuse claims in a Facebook post.
