Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster have made their first red carpet appearance as a couple, attending the Los Angeles premiere of Jackman's new film Song Sung Blue during AFI Fest at the TCL Chinese Theatre.
The pair appeared happy and relaxed, wrapping their arms around each other and sharing smiles for photographers. Jackman wore a black suit and tie with a white shirt, while Foster opted for a low-cut black satin dress. The outing followed recent joint appearances, including Richard Marx's After Hours Confession event in New York City and the Fetch Pet Gala, where Foster wore a strapless ensemble.
The couple have been dating for nearly nine months, having publicly confirmed their relationship in January 2025 after a dinner and hand-in-hand stroll in Los Angeles. A week later, they were seen kissing while waiting for an In-N-Out order. Though they are now officially a couple, the two have known each other for years, having worked together on the Broadway production of The Music Man.
During rehearsals for The Music Man in October 2021, Jackman shared a behind-the-scenes video and paid tribute to Foster, writing: "There are hundreds who've made this moment happen. But there's one in particular I pay tribute to - Sutton, this show is nothing without you." In February 2022, Foster responded with a social media post praising Jackman, and later described him in a Vogue interview as "the hardest working man, incredibly kind, and generous".
Foster also said of Jackman: "He disarms everyone, and he doesn't make anything about him. And he's now become one of my best friends, which was a surprise." The couple's red carpet debut comes following Jackman's divorce from Deborra-Lee Furness.
