Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster's Romance Timeline

Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster have taken their relationship public, following his separation from Deborra-Lee Furness in 2023. The couple, who co-starred in the Broadway revival of The Music Man, made their red carpet debut in October 2025.

From Co-Stars to Couple

Jackman and Foster first crossed paths on the theatre circuit before teaming up for The Music Man. Workshops for the production began in 2020, and the pair made their debut as Harold Hill and Marian Paroo in 2022. During their time on Broadway, Foster referred to Jackman as one of her "best friends."

The show ran for 11 months, closing in January 2023. Eight months later, Jackman confirmed his split from Furness, with whom he shares two children, Oscar and Ava. Foster, who was married to Ted Griffin, reportedly filed for divorce in October 2024.

Going Public

Speculation about their relationship grew after they were spotted holding hands in California in January 2025. They made their red carpet debut as a couple at the Los Angeles premiere of Jackman's film Song Sung Blue in October 2025.

Foster has since supported Jackman at the New York premiere of The Sheep Detectives in April and The Death of Robin Hood in June. On 3 August, the pair performed a duet of "A Million Dreams" at the Ogunquit Playhouse's 2026 Gala in Maine.

Furness filed for divorce in May last year, making cryptic comments about betrayal. Neither Jackman nor Foster has commented publicly on their relationship.
