Honey Kinny Ross, the daughter of renowned presenter Jonathan Ross, delighted her Instagram followers this week with a vibrant collection of festive photographs. The 28-year-old activist and podcaster shared a series of glamorous snaps taken after attending a Christmas party, showcasing her confident style and celebratory spirit.
Festive Fashion and Playful Poses
In the standout images, Honey commanded attention in a striking baby doll-style minidress crafted from red velvet. The garment featured a fitted bodice and a playful puff skirt, perfectly highlighting her silhouette. She elevated the look with a unique bolero jacket, its sleeves adorned with a blue floral pattern and trimmed with fur at the collar and cuffs.
Completing the festive ensemble were matching red tights and heels. Honey struck a variety of poses for the camera, including a playful glance over her shoulder to show off the dress's back. Surrounded by silver balloons, she also shared a cheeky image with a finger near her lips.
From Grinch Encounters to Casual Pub Trips
The carousel of photos offered more than just glamour. One amusing picture captured Honey standing back-to-back with the Grinch at a Universal event, replicating her playful pose from the party. She showcased a more casual style in another image, wearing blue denim jeans paired with a sparkly brown cowl neck top.
The festive roundup also included a snapshot of Honey enjoying a drink at a pub with her good friend, comedian Gav Murphy. He opted for a brown corduroy blazer over a black shirt, accessorised with thick black frames.
A Journey to Body Positivity and Family Support
The photos underscore Honey's current role as a body positive campaigner, a position she came to after well-documented struggles. In 2020, she told Loose Women that her parents had presented her with "absolutely toxic" diets during her teens when she hated her body and they suggested weight loss as a solution.
However, in a subsequent joint interview with The Times last year, her father Jonathan Ross offered a different perspective. The 65-year-old pushed back on the insinuation that he and his wife, writer Jane Goldman, tried to control Honey's diet. "We took our cues from Honey," he explained, noting they only supported her when she talked about getting fitter and immediately stopped when she wanted to.
Honey herself has since clarified her comments, walking back her previous statements and praising her "wonderful" father for his support. She acknowledged that navigating her teen confidence issues was difficult for everyone and credited her family for helping her reach a point where, at 27, she felt happy with her body.
Jonathan Ross and Jane Goldman are also parents to son Harvey, 31, and daughter Betty, 34.
