Hollyoaks Star Warns Warren Should Fear Prince's Murder Plot
Hollyoaks Star: Warren Should Fear Prince's Murder Plot

Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas) is a pro at staying one step ahead of his enemies, but the Hollyoaks legend has no idea that he has a nemesis much closer to home. Prince McQueen (Malique Thompson-Dwyer) is plotting his downfall.

Prince Admits Murder Plan on Tape

Prince, as viewers know, admitted on tape during Leah Barnes' (Charlotte Alex Riley) confessional booth sessions that his deepest secret is his plan to claim Warren's life. The character still harbours a grudge towards Warren over the death of his twin brother Hunter (Theo Graham), who tragically died years ago after taking drugs on a night out. The drugs in question, which also led to the death of Lizzie Chen-Williams (Lily Best), were part of a dodgy batch supplied by none other than Warren.

Prince and mum Goldie (Chelsee Healey) have made their feelings known about Warren in the past, particularly when Mercedes (Jennifer Metcalfe) embarked on a relationship with him, but eventually they put their feelings to one side for Merce's sake. Or so it seemed.

Star Reacts to Prince's Dark Turn

In last Wednesday's (July 8) double bill of the Channel 4 soap, Prince admitted to plotting the 'perfect murder' in a bid to get revenge for Hunter's death. 'It actually took me aback when I heard Prince wanted to kill Warren,' star Malique Thompson-Dwyer told Metro. 'He hasn't spoken about his brother in a while – like he'd forgotten about why he died. So when I saw this was coming up, I was rooting for him. Obviously I don't want Prince to commit murders but this is his brother – and Warren is the reason he was killed. So I was kinda like: “Go on Prince, have him!”.'

Malique admitted that while he doesn't think Prince has been plotting the death, his alter-ego has certainly had 'intrusive thoughts' about it. As for whether Prince actually has what it takes to end the almighty Warren Fox, the actor said: 'I definitely think Prince has what it takes. He's waited two years, this is some proper Mafia stuff. He's going to plan every detail, every way it can go right or wrong. Warren is not going to expect it. I think Warren is in a vulnerable position. It is dangerous but Prince isn't the one who is in danger…'

What's Next for Prince and Warren?

In terms of what's to come next, Malique assured viewers that there will be a lot of 'misbehaving' from characters including Prince. 'Some unfaithfulness, a lot of gritty, dangerous, exciting times are coming!' he teased.

Hollyoaks streams Mondays to Wednesdays from 6am on Channel 4's streaming platform, or catch episodes on TV at 7pm on E4.
