Holly Willoughby recalls live TV wardrobe malfunction

Holly Willoughby has recalled the embarrassing moment she suffered a wardrobe malfunction on live television while hosting the children's show Ministry of Mayhem with Stephen Mulhern in the noughties.

The 45-year-old was told to dance around wearing a flimsy camisole but quickly spotted that a strap on her top had broken. She reminisced about the incident on the latest episode of her YouTube show Together, where she spoke with Emma Bunton and Nicole Appleton.

Hypnotised skit goes wrong

Holly said she was acting out a skit where the boyband Blue had been hypnotised. Their commands included following her as she showed off wild dance moves.

"As far as I'm concerned, they were definitely hypnotised," she reflected, demonstrating her moves. She went on: "I stood up and I was really like going for it and as I looked down, the strap on my top had broken, and my left boob was swinging!"

Live on air reaction

"But we were still live and I knew it happened. We had an ad break and I came off air and I was like: 'tell me you didn't see that!' And they were like: 'We can't. We're not going to lie to you. We did see it.'"

"And then The Sun put me on Page 3 the next day. So I've been a Page 3 girl with my boob out."

Holly previously described it as her "most embarrassing moment on TV". In a 2012 interview, she said: "I learnt a very valuable lesson, which was to always wear a sturdy bra. There could be an earthquake and I'd be the only person still in their dress!"

Only Fans joke on podcast

On a recent episode of her podcast, she joked it would be like she was "on Only Fans". She didn't have a guest and was given a blind cooking challenge which saw her tasked with making 'Toad in the hole' from scratch. Her task included grinding up the meat to make the mince for the sausages.

"What could possibly go wrong?," she said. "I feel like every TV presenter at some point has been given a sausage machine, purely for s***s and giggles, which I feel is like what is happening all over again here."

She initially struggled to use the machine to fill the sausage skins and commented: "It says lubricate the attachment and slide the sausage skin on. It's not right.

"Oh God, guys, what are you making me do? I just feel like I'm on Only Fans." A cameraman then responded to the star: "If this doesn't work, you might be," making her laugh.

Holly continued to joke: "I feel like I have to take my wedding ring off, but I feel like I'm cheating on my husband," while using the machine.
