Holly Willoughby has admitted she has "changed" since the foiled plot to murder her by Gavin Plumb, saying things will "never be the same" after the ordeal.
Feeling vulnerable
The 45-year-old TV presenter said that in some ways she is "stronger" after Plumb was given a life sentence in 2024 for planning to kidnap, rape, and murder her. However, she confessed the ordeal made her feel vulnerable "in a way that you haven't ever imagined feeling vulnerable".
She said: "And I don't think you're meant to test that, that vulnerability. Things have changed, I've changed - certain things will never be the same. You can't not change with something like that. And in some ways, I am stronger. And in some ways, I'm not."
New YouTube series
The former This Morning host, who has launched a new YouTube series called Together, also admitted she is "not everyone's cup of tea". She fired back at critics by insisting they don't have to watch her new show.
Holly told The Times magazine: "I'm not being forced upon anybody. At least you know that whoever's watching or subscribing now, they're there because they want to be. I know I'm not everyone's cup of tea. So fine, watch or don't. You have the control. It's up to you now."
Behind the scenes
She added there's no autocue and no real script in her new show, and the microphones are always live. The mum said: "So you get to see a bit of the workings and the goings-on and all that stuff behind the scenes. And I love that because I feel like that's the real stuff. I hope one day, when the time's right and the project's right, that I will go back and do some telly stuff - I'm a telly girl, and I love it. But for now, this is what I'm doing. And it's interesting to explore, to build something."
