Holly Willoughby asks fans for honest feedback on YouTube show

Holly Willoughby has asked fans for their honest feedback as she addressed the divided reaction to her new YouTube series, Holly Willoughby Together, weeks after launching the project.

The former This Morning host, 45, unveiled her new venture last month, with Stanley Tucci as her first guest. In the weeks since, she has shared the screen with Joanne McNally and Katherine Ryan.

Some viewers branded the project 'boring', with one claiming they turned off her debut after just 10 minutes, fuming that it was 'like watching paint dry'.

Holly's Instagram appeal

Taking to Instagram, the presenter has now spoken out over the reviews, urging fans to share their likes and dislikes so far.

“Hi all, how you doing?” she said in a video, making light of her recent instalment. “I’m just getting ready to head out to lunch with some friends. You’ll be pleased to know there’s not a sausage in sight. In case you think I’ve gone completely mad, I am of course talking about my bangers that I made. Everybody loves a banger.

“That was a bit of a departure for me, making sausages from scratch on Together. Whenever you’ve got a sausage machine in the vicinity, comedy follows, which it did.

“Thanks for all your feedback as well because it’s really great hearing what you think, and what you like, and what you don’t like - because that’s equally as important, as well. So keep it coming.”

She added: “Friday, I’ve got the girls coming in. The icons of the 90s, I’ve got Emma Bunton and Nicole Appleton. They’re going to come in and talk about their experiences in the 90s, and 90s fashion. That’s on Friday so look out for that one.”

Alongside the post, Holly wrote: “Thank you all for watching Together, loved hearing the feedback! Friday’s episode is another banger, me and the girls, Emma and Nicole, xxx can’t wait to see what you think.”

Fan reactions

Many were quick to share their praise in the comments below, with one penning: “Love the show….esp loved Kathryn Ryan and Joanne mcnally. Just hilarious!! Keep going, fab work xx [sic].”

Another agreed: “Been watching them with my family and honestly they have been a blast to watch! Super entertaining and comforting too!”

“Thank you. I’ve loved watching you in this new venture,” a follower raved, while a commenter added: “Can’t wait to watch the next episode , love Emma & Nicole.”

However, others were less than enthusiastic when the first episode dropped just a few weeks ago. One unimpressed YouTube viewer fumed: “Gave up after 10 minutes - was like watching paint dry.”

“BORING....omg this is so bad,” a social media user penned, as a fan added: “On the whole ok. Love Stanley! But boring and slow at times not enough content.”

TV comeback rumours

Despite only releasing Together in July, it is claimed that Holly is ready for her TV comeback. According to reports, she is said to be filming a pilot for a new Disney+ chat show very soon.

“Holly has been sought by Disney+ for a new show and is filming a pilot in the next few weeks,” a source claimed, alleging that production company Box To Box has “thrown a fair bit of cash behind it already”.

The insider added: "The whole premise of the show is empowerment and authenticity, with Holly leading the conversation. It’s a really ambitious project, with really high production values.”
