Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty, 31, and Holly Ramsay, 25, have tied the knot in a lavish wedding at Bath Abbey. The couple beamed as they exited the historic building before heading to the opulent Georgian manor, Kin House, for the reception. Guests included Sir David Beckham, his wife Victoria, and their children Romeo, Cruz, and Harper, as well as MasterChef presenter Marcus Wareing and Dragons' Den star Sara Davies.
The bride, daughter of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, wore a veil and styled her hair in an up-do. Her bridesmaids donned floor-length red satin gowns and carried bouquets of calla lilies, while her mother Tana wore a bottle green dress. Gordon Ramsay expressed his pride in an Instagram post, saying he was 'truly so lucky being able to walk this beautiful bride down the aisle.'
The wedding comes amid reports of a family rift, with Peaty's mother Caroline reportedly uninvited from the ceremony. A family source told The Sun that Caroline had considered gatecrashing but decided against it, saying, 'She will not be there because it would be too sad and she don't want to spoil his big day.' The couple reportedly block-booked the venue for the entire day, with security patrolling to prevent unauthorised photography.
Peaty and Ramsay announced their engagement in September 2024. The swimmer, a six-time Olympic medalist, has a five-year-old son from a previous relationship. The couple reportedly met through Holly's sister Tilly during their time on Strictly Come Dancing in 2021.
