Helen George Splits from Boyfriend After Moving In Together

Helen George, known for playing Trixie in the BBC drama Call the Midwife, has ended her relationship with boyfriend Dann Innes just seven months after they began living together. The 42-year-old actress had been romantically linked with the property marketing agency chief since March 2025.

Relationship Timeline and Split

Innes moved into George's West London home, where she lives with her two daughters Wren Ivy and Lark, at the start of 2026. A source told The Sun that the couple "have gone their separate ways," explaining: "They had a whirlwind romance but their differences became apparent. It has been a difficult time for them both."

Cryptic Social Media Posts

George has turned to social media to share a series of posts hinting at emotional pain. She re-shared a quote to her Instagram Story that referenced "responding to disrespect," reading: "I will absolutely take responsibility for when I am wrong. But I will never apologise for responding to disrespect. If you lit the match, do not stand in the flames pretending to be the victim."

She also uploaded an image of her daughter walking alone through a meadow to her 277,000 followers, captioned: "When the chaos leaves, the calm resumes."

Co-Parenting with Ex-Partner

Innes is father to two children, aged 14 and 12, from a previous relationship. George, who shares her daughters with ex-partner Jack, spoke to BBC Radio 4 about balancing motherhood with her theatre work, praising her ex: "I would like to also shout out to the father of my daughters, Jack. We split the children 50/50; he is an incredible and reliable father who also juggles as much as I. It is a juggle, and I make mistakes. I have to forgive myself for that because I am a good mother."

She brings her daughters to the dressing room after school so they "grow up understanding how important it is for women to be financially independent."
