Helen Flanagan has spoken candidly about her co-parenting arrangement with ex-fiancé Scott Sinclair, describing their situation as 'drama-free'. The former Coronation Street actress, 32, said she still gets on 'really well' with Scott's mother, which makes life easier.
Flanagan and Sinclair, who were together for 13 years before splitting in 2022, share three children: Matilda, 7, Delilah, 4, and Charlie, 2. The actress lives in Manchester with the children, while Sinclair resides with his mother in Bristol. They often meet halfway in Birmingham to facilitate access.
Speaking to The Sun, Flanagan said: 'I co-parent with Scott. We were together for a long time... I get on really well with Scott's mum. Honestly it makes my life so easy because we hang out together.' She added that the children see their father and grandmother regularly, and recently enjoyed a week-long trip to Dubai with their dad.
Flanagan also discussed the challenges of balancing work and motherhood, admitting she is 'not a superwoman' and relies on a friend for childcare help. She reflected on 'mum guilt', saying: 'As women I don't think we can ever win... I do feel like the happier you are as a mum, the better it is for your child.'
