Helen Flanagan has told fans she is 'overwhelmed' as she opened up about solo parenting during the summer holidays, which came after her tongue-in-cheek plea for schools to reopen.
The actress, from Bury, shares three children - Matilda, 11, Delilah, eight, and Charlie, five - with her ex-fiance Scott Sinclair. She recently documented their move out of the family's Bolton home.
Move from family home
Helen had initially lived in the eight-bedroom house with Scott, prior to their separation in 2022 after 13 years together, but said it had been "really hard to keep on top of". The move comes after Helen and Scott have spent the years following their split juggling co-parenting their children while living at opposite ends of the country.
In a new social media post, Helen admitted that she has recently been struggling with trying to keep up with her various responsibilities.
Candid update after Chester Zoo trip
Taking to Instagram after a trip to Chester Zoo, former Coronation Street star Helen said: "Such a good day @chesterzoo Charlie loved it!!! I knew he would as he loves animals xxx Dill came too, I really feel in some pics she looks like me x.
"They didn't argue too much in the car, my mum did FaceTime in the morning when they were arguing in the house x Im really overwhelmed in the house there is still so much unpacking and boxes so it's chaos and I can't return any of my emails or phone calls with these two.
"Matilda had her settling in at secondary school and mum held the fort there x My mum and dad are amazing and help me so much with juggling the kids activities and whenever I need to work x. (sic)"

She also commented: "I think I speak for all mums over the school holidays- we are tired but love them so much and so many amazing memories made x I can't wait to go to the gym, have back physio, have a tidy house and I really miss my friends x The six hours they are at school you can do so much x. (sic)"
Helen rounded off her post by explaining: "I'm neurodivergent and I think all three of my kids are so it can be challenging regulating them, when its a challenge to regulate yourself. I was in tears before we left the house as i misplaced my house key and couldn't lock up, I just wanted to give them a nice day and Charlie found it in the boot. It's important to fill your cup and I'm hoping to get out a bit for the bank holiday, especially for Pride. (sic)"
