Harry Styles has said being awarded a Blue Peter badge “might be my proudest achievement”. The singer, 32, received the prestigious gold badge in recognition of his musical career and for inspiring young people to be creative and have the confidence to follow their dreams.

Styles' Reaction to the Badge

Styles said: “I grew up watching Blue Peter and I never thought I would get one of these… this might be my proudest achievement.” Addressing Blue Peter fans, he added: “If you are watching Blue Peter, I wish you luck in all your future endeavours, keep dreaming and treat people with kindness.”

Presentation at Wembley

Styles was presented with his badge by Blue Peter presenter Shini Muthukrishnan backstage at his record-breaking 12th Wembley Stadium show. The gold Blue Peter badge is awarded to individuals in recognition of extraordinary achievements. Previous recipients include Madonna, Ed Sheeran and Sir Paul McCartney.

Special Episode and Tour Details

A special episode of Blue Peter filmed on location at Wimbledon, which also shows Styles being awarded his badge, will air on Friday at 5pm on CBBC. The former One Direction star finished the London leg of his Together, Together tour on Saturday night during which he performed 12 shows. The Grammy-winning singer has been recognised with a Guinness World Record for the longest residency by a musician at Wembley during a single run.

Record-Breaking Residency

Styles began the residency on June 12 during a tour for his fourth studio album, Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally. Originally announced as a six-night run, demand led to the addition of six more shows for the UK leg of the tour. Styles overtook the previous record of 10 Wembley Stadium shows, set by Coldplay during their Music Of The Spheres World Tour in 2025.

Guinness World Record Certificate

The singer and the whole tour crew were presented with the certificate onstage by official Guinness World Records adjudicator Will Munford, who called the residency an “extraordinary achievement”. “Harry Styles’ record-breaking 12-date run is a testament to the scale, ambition and cultural impact of his live performances, as well as the incredible connection he has with his fans,” he said.

Upcoming Tour Dates

Styles will go on to perform in Sao Paulo, Mexico City, New York City and Melbourne, with the tour set to wrap up in Sydney on December 13.
